The Airways Country Inn is located minutes from Edmonton's International Airport, and has been servicing the needs of the area since 1957. Cleverly developed with easy access to both Edmonton and Calgary, the Inn has seen guests the likes of Prime Minister John Diefenbaker, and was where most airline personnel chose to stay while overnighting in Alberta.
Easy to Get From
Guests of the Inn recieve free shuttle service to and from the airport, and everyone is welcome to take advantage of the reasonable rates provided by the Airways Airport PArking facility, which is open 14-hours a day and highly secure. The hotel has 37 rooms including Traditional, Queen and Double accommodations.
Enjoy the Amenities
The Airways Country Inn is perhaps best known for its on-site tavern and lounge, the former of which was the first licensed establishment in Alberta to allow men and women to drink in the same room. In keeping with these liberal policies, today the Drillers Lounge attracts locals and travellers alike for nights of unabashed fun, and the present-day Tavern hosts high-class exotic entertainment.
