Live Excitement
Alberta Satellite Bingo is Canada’s first bingo game to broadcast live across an entire province. It was launched in 1996. Players in Edmonton join in with over 90 other participating bingo halls throughout the province which are all connected up via satellite. The game is broadcast to a live studio audience at Ceaesar’s Bingo in West Edmonton Mall. Alberta Satellite Bingo provides an updated list of all the bingo halls throughout Edmonton and the rest of the province that carry the games. The game is not operated by any provincial government agency, and many prize winners receive their prizes on the same day (grand prize winners on the following day).

Many Chances to Win
With three games a day in the afternoon (3:00 p.m.), early evening (9:00 p.m.) and late evening (11:15 p.m.) players have numerous chances to get in on some great cash prizes. Games last 15 minutes and are hosted by a caller via the satellite. There is a large main prize, several different kinds of bonus prizes, and each card purchased (at $1 for a sealed, single sided, folded card) may win its owner an instant $5.00. The cards are specially designed to avoid duplication and reduce multiple wins. Alberta Satellite Bingo benefits numerous charities and community projects.
