Operating since 1990, Alhambra's selection of used and collectable editions of the printed word runs the gamut from fiction to technical books, with an emphasis on history and religious studies.

In the fiction section alone, the shop offers a wide selection for the eager reader, from Jean Paul Sartre and other Russian writers, to lighter, easier to digest novels and children's books. Alhambra takes pride in offering one of the most extensive and affordable collections of "how-to" books. The shop also sells vintage magazines including back copies of Life magazine.
