Yes, it’s almost classic diner fare, if only the space wasn’t so un-diner like. Being in the old warehouse district allows the eatery to exist in a large, studio-like space. Paintings from local artists hang on the walls. And the chefs do a neat job adding subtle twists to the diner classics; the macaroni swims in a three-cheese sauce and is covered with shredded vegetables; the grilled cheese comes on hearty multigrain bread and there are innovative spices used on many of the dishes, from the chicken to your side of coleslaw.
