A History of Dedicated Service
A Hungarian tradition in Little Italy, Budapest Delicatessen was established in Edmonton by a traditional Hungarian couple thirty years ago. It has served Edmonton and the surrounding communities since the doors opened and features traditionally-smoked European meats and sausages, along with other quality European imported goods. The current owners of the Budapest Delicatessen have been involved in the food industry since the early 1980s and add to the authenticity of the finely produced goods by perfecting the recipes passed down through many generations of their European family traditions.

One of the ways the owners of the Budapest Delicatessen have acquired a loyal clientele is by not only carrying forward the traditional foods of the old country, but also by embracing the 21st century and the new technologies around selling merchandise. With the recent launch of the store’s website, the owners plan to continue serving and providing Edmonton and surrounding communities with the finest, old fashion quality-made products by making their delicatessen known nation-wide through their new web site, which has samples of the meats, cheeses and canned goods available in the store, including smoked and prepackaged meats, bakery items and imported goods.
