Things that Exceed the Realm of Reads and Needs
The NAIT bookstore, Reads and Needs, offers a lot of things you don’t actually read or need. Of course, all of this came about after they made the sign, so they decided to leave it as it was. You can also pick up all of your NAIT giftware, purses and seasonal items, which can include everything from gardening equipment to piratewear. The piratewear has been a hot seller for them and they plan to bring it back, so check back frequently. Or show a little school spirit by wearing some of the licensed clothing available at the bookstore. There is also an abundance of school supplies and souvenirs at Reads and Needs. Everything at this story is student priced, but anyone can shop here. They also offer mail orders.
Who Doesn’t Love Books?
What is a bookstore, if it isn’t a store full of books? Outside of your specific academic needs, this bookstore offers several reference books, dictionaries and thesauruses, as well as books on barbecuing, gardening and dieting. The books change seasonally, so keep an eye on the sections outside of your area of academic interest. You can also sell your old textbooks at the NAIT bookstore. Every May and October, the bookstore buys back used textbooks for about half of the original price.
