A Local Favourite
When Carol's Quality Sweets was demolished in a March 14, 2003 fire that blazed several other Old Strathcona landmarks, local chocolate lovers were devastated. Customers flooded the store's voice mail with messages of support, and less than a year after the fire, Carol's reopened, in the popular High Street shopping area in Old Glenora.

What sets this sweet shop apart from the others is that it makes all its own chocolate-European style. The quality and selection keeps bringing people back no matter what type of chocolate you prefer: from white chocolate, creamy dairy milk to the more "adult" taste of dark chocolate. All the chocolates are made with real cream and natural flavourings.

Christmas and Easter are busy times for the shop. Carol's creates some of the most amazing chocolate items: from stupendous chocolates sleds filled with even more tasty treats to a wide variety of chocolate bunnies and Easter eggs.
