Gather ‘round, race fans, because this is the place for you. Combine high octane, high adrenaline and high performance, and you have exactly what Castrol Raceway has to offer. Not just a race track, Castrol Raceway is comprised of a quarter-mile International Hot Rod Association drag strip, a 3/8-mile Clay Oval and a Canadian Motorsport Racing Club-sanctioned motocross track.
Track Meets
What’s the difference between the three tracks? The motocross track is the newest addition to the park, and is expected to awe the most seasoned crowds. The double table top, camel back and 90’ culvert jump step-down are sure to keep the riders off track and in the dirt. The drag strip, a fan favourite, is open for both Street Legal and Jet Cars. The Clay Oval is home to some 360 sprint cars, one of Canada’s largest collections.
Fun All Year
Young or old, Castrol Raceway is for anyone who takes the time to enjoy cars, races and a whole lotta noise. With six full months of racing season, there’s always time to catch a race or two. Plus, races take place on weekends. Also, most Friday races start after 5 p.m., which means weekends start early all summer!
Tickets! Get your tickets!
With over 8,500 grandstand seats, corporate seats and fan hospitality packages, there’s no reason not to race to the track. Tickets are inexpensive to moderately-priced, and vary depending on the event. They are available online or at local Mac’s convenience stores. And no matter what you hear, don’t forget to bring your ear plugs!
