Profile Last Updated: May 09, 2007
The Clareview Arena has been a hot spot for young skaters, hockey and ringette players over the years. The arena offers skaters two Olympic size ice surfaces, one is 210 feet x 100 feet, seating for 600, safety netting, summer ice capabilities, four dressing rooms, pro-shop, designated warm up area, automatic skate sharpening machine, and vending machines. The other rink has the same amenities with a smaller ice surface of 200 feet x 85 feet and seating capacity for 150 viewers.
Ice Skating Safety
If ice hockey is Canada’s national sport, then skating must be the first runner-up, at the very least. Helmets are an important part of your skating gear, just as much so as gloves, warm socks, and a good old-fashioned Canadian toque. Staying warm will help skaters enjoy an exciting ice skating adventure all the more. Alberta is bliss for the ice skating enthusiast.
Who to Contact
The City of Edmonton owns and manages the arena. Patrons can contact the city for further information on hours of operation, group bookings, and program registrations. Lace up, keep fit and experience one of the coolest sports this season!
