A Name Change
Edmonton's newest downtown hotel, Thornton Court, has now been renamed to reflect a new corporate parent. The hotel delivers a panoramic river valley view in a business casual setting. Located between the Shaw Convention Centre and the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald, its 177 guest rooms feature full amenities. Each suite has a large desk area, desk lamp and ergonomic chair, king or queen sized beds, cable TVs, mini fridges, tea and coffee, and hair dryers. Some have a jacuzzi, and cribs are available on request. A morning newspaper is delivered to your door. The Courtyard Edmonton Marriott Hotel offers complimentary continental breakfasts, as well as late night snacks in their Breakfast Room overlooking the scenic river valley. There's also a fitness room, non-smoking floors and express check out.
