A Sport for Everyone
The Derrick Club is a mostly private family recreation club. One of the sports it offers to the public is curling. The club encourages all ages to play while stressing teamwork, technique and fun. Offering leagues for anyone wanting to put together men’s, women’s or mixed teams, the Derrick Curling Club also has leagues just for seniors and beginners.

Have a Curling Party!
The Derrick’s curling facility is a popular spot for school or office groups. Its licensed lounge area, suitable for up to 50 people, overlooks the action on the ice below. Quality food services are available for group functions. A well-stocked cafeteria is also on hand. Now with four sheets of ice, the curling facility has more of a private atmosphere, great for smaller events, company socials or groups of eight to 13 friends.

Leagues Ahead of Other Facilities
The club is also proud of the fact that they hire seasoned, professional curling champions as their curling coordinators. The curling coordinator/pro is available for individual and group curling clinics. The pro-shop has the basic equipment to get you started, available for rent or purchase. The club itself is easy to get to from virtually anywhere in Edmonton. To top it all of, curlers even get their own separate entrance to the club.
