A Sense of History
Originally built as a nine-hole course in 1959, Devon Golf Club catered to workers at Leduc #1. It was a place where employees of Alberta’s first oil field could relax after working hard. Expanded to an 18-hole course in 1970, it now offers full or half games to the public. Major renovations in the early 1980s included reworking holes four through ten and installing an irrigation system. Devon golf course is lush and secluded with gorgeous views of the river valley.
