The Skinny
White sand bunkers and tall trees are just some of the distinctive features at Edmonton Springs Golf Resort, a relatively new, beauty of a course located just west of the River City. Even with its short history, the track is known for the development of its lovely, formidable greens. At over 7,000 yards from the blue tees, Edmonton Springs is also a bit of a beast that the average duffer might find hard to tame.

The Layout
Make sure you pay a visit to the pro shop before you arrive, as water comes into play on a majority of holes. Stock up on used and abused balls you won't mind losing! While the course is beautiful throughout, prepare yourself for a dramatic finish. Number 16 is the signature hole, featuring an amazing island green. The dogleg left par four has trouble to spare, and in case you envision plopping down a cheeky approach, remember that the green has a tiny collar. Beware!

Number 18
The final hole is an impressive finisher. This par-five requires a good drive over, you guessed it, water. Take a deep breath and swing easy! Finish off the day by stopping by the charming snack bar for a cold beverage, and a selection of simple snacks can also be found. Sit back comfortably, and enjoy watching everyone behind you tackle the last hole.
