With four pools: a leisure pool, a small pool, a whirlpool and a competitive pool, this St. Albert spot is a mecca for folks who enjoy splashing around in water. The leisure pool, heated to 30 to 32 degrees Celcius constant temperature, is perfect for relaxing; it has a series of small bays with water jets.
Swim to Compete
For folks who like to play Tarzan, there's also a slide and rope swing, as well as a one-metre diving board. The whirlpool, heated to a temperature of 38 to 40 degrees Celcius, has spaces for 40 people. The competitive pool has an average water temperature of 28 to 29 degrees Celcius, eight lanes, 1,5 metres depth and is designed for competitive meets with officials and judges' platform.

Hankering for a bit of dryland exercise? The centre features two racquetball courts, one of which can be converted into a squash court. There's also a studio room which sees double duty as a program room for exercise and aerobics classes. For folks who want some post-workout munchies, the centre's cafe has a wide range of food choices, including healthy options.
