Hardisty Fitness & Leisure Centre is uniquely situated to capitalize on Edmonton's vast river valley trail system, to create a complete fitness regimen. Located at 10535 65 Street, Hardisty is only minutes from the river valley, creating a wide variety of cross-training possibilities for walkers, runners, cyclists and cross country skiers. It's also the only fitness centre in the immediate area.
Dive In
Hardisty has a six-lane, 25 metre pool, with a hot tub, steam room and individual dry saunas in each of the change rooms. Unique among city pools, Hardisty featues a giant floating island - a five metre by five metre floating mat that's great fun for kids of all ages. The mat is available during any recreational swim two hours or longer.
Special Care
Hardisty is also the only pool in the city to offer a program called Water Works, an award-winning exercise program for people with arthitis and other joint mobility problems. Water Works helps to relieve stiffness, and restore or maintain joint range of motion. The fitness centre offers free weights, treadmills, exercise bikes and Universal equipment.
