Horizon Stage is located at Spruce Grove Composite High School in Spruce Grove, just west of Edmonton. The intimate and acoustically-superb venue can seat 324 people comfortably for everything from live theatre to eclectic music events. With the seats arranged in a horseshoe fashion and elevated from the main floor, sightlines of the semi-circular stage are excellent. There's even a special section for patrons with physical disabilities.
The Horizon Stage is home to the Horizon Players. The non-profit theatre troupe has been a fixture in the Edmonton area community for over fifteen years. It is open to anyone interested in live community theatre, whether as a participant or audience member, through its two shows per season, as well as workshops and readings. Other volunteers include the Horizon Stagelighters who provide front-of-house services, and the Horizon Stage Tech team who work on the technical aspects behind the scenes.
