Large families can be hard on the pocketbook when it comes to eating out. Fortunately, there are a number of restaurants in Edmonton that offer some relief from the over-priced cafes where a simple sandwich can top a sawbuck. Humpty's is one of them. With a number of locations spread throughout the city, you'll have no difficulty finding one close to you. Like other family-oriented restaurants (Albert's, Denny's) Humpty's offers extensive breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections from their enormous menu.

What To Order
If you like your bacon, sausage, hashbrowns and eggs served up at any time of the day, you'll be happy to hear the breakfast menu is served all day, all week. The lunch and dinner menu offers everything from ribs to beef dip. The meal are always a fair size, so don't have starters or side dishes unless you're really hungry or have a large group to share. Some of the favourites are the Burgers, Linguine Supreme and Battered Cod with French Fries.

Seniors can also take advantage of Humpty's "60 Club” card. This little bargain beauty can be used for a 10 per cent discount not only off grandpa's meal, but for everyone else in the group, as long as their meals haven’t already been discounted. Humpty's has a take-out service, but the specials apply to dine-in only. If you’re hungry and you’ve got a few friends with you, Humpty’s is a fine choice that will please everyone.
