Most of the menu in the tiny restaurant is fusion Asian fare, with a delicious emphasis on Thai cuisine. The soups and sizzling platters come highly recommended, but you’ll need to visit Longan at least a dozen times before getting a good handle on the menu. It is composed of over three densely packed pages of items, including rice dishes, noodles, soups, snacks, hot and cold drinks and even dishes with a corn base.
An Interesting Mix
You wouldn’t expect to find spaghetti at a Chinese restaurant, but Longan incorporates their own unique style of fusion offering a shredded chicken, sliced beef or pork chop spaghetti entrée. Curry, typically an Indian flavour, also finds its way into several dishes here, as well as baked pork chops with a variety of sauces including, tomato, cream, onion and black pepper.
Longan Restaurant is known for offering a unique ethnic dining experience everyone can enjoy, and has established itself firmly in the neighbourhood and surrounding area. Many customers have been coming here for years to enjoy the vast array of delicacies and the friendly service. No time to cook? They are pleased to offer all their menu items for take-out.
