The Scene
The first thing you notice when walking into Lush is the delectable smell of soaps, scrubs and skin care products almost scrumptious enough to eat.

The deli-styled store opened shop on Whyte Avenue in 1998, and since that time has been providing Old Strathcona with natural, practically edible bath and body products.

What You'll Find
Bowls of fresh facemasks sit on a bed of ice, ready to be scooped up and enjoyed at your home. Then there are the slices of soap cut from logs much like loaves of fancy bread. Bath bombs look like scoops of ice cream and exotic names to match their exotic smells. You can't forget the massage bars made with essential oils, cocoa butter, and some even with chocolate. Yum, yum!

Traveling but have no room for bottles of shampoo? Lush sells its own solid shampoo and shampoo bars designed never to accidentally leak in your suitcase or backpack. Lush was born in Britain, and has more than 60 stores world wide.
