The Scene
LUX is the scene for Edmonton's upwardly mobile. This contemporary restaurant and lounge is the upscale place to unwind after a day at the office. The long New York style bar, feature waterfall and dark wood accents create an elegant atmosphere for those who want to break away from the ordinary.
The Restaurant
LUX takes steakhouse to a whole new level. And while you have a selection of Alberta’s best prime aged AAA steaks, LUX is so much more. Ahi tuna sandwiches, seafood linguini or the favorite lobster macaroni and cheese, LUX is sure to please all palates. If you’re in the mood for sharing, there are Lobster cakes, five spice pork spring rolls and phyllo-wrapped baked camembert. The fries are homemade with no trans fats and served with a spicy chipotle mayo. Even the ice cream is made in house.
The Lounge
This is where it happens. LUX has an extensive drink menu of wines, cocktails, beers, Caesars and martinis. Monday to Thursday from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. is happy hour: you can enjoy four dollar drinks. LUX also makes each day distinct with daily drink specials, but Martoonie Thursdays are the biggest hit when Martinis are only two dollars. Sip your Insanity Caesar or Blue Moon Martini as you listen to the music and join Edmonton’s corporate culture as they let loose.
