The Maclab Centre, located on the south side of Leduc Composite High School, officially opened in 2005. A joint project among various community groups and the city, this theatrical arts centre was years in the making. As time rolled by, the space was constantly renovated and improved to finally become what is known today as the Maclab Centre. Much of the spirit and history of Leduc's art world is embodied in this multi-functional facility.
Where All the Action Happens
The theater, which seats 460 people, is a central figure in the city. Music and theatre events are held here on a regular basis. Many solid performers have walked through the doors of the Maclab and graced audiences with their talents. From family-focused plays to comedians, singers and dancers, the Maclab Centre has something for everyone.
