Dinner entrées are equally as tempting with plenty of sophisticated beef, chicken and seafood selections constituting the menu, including a chef’s creation and at least one, wild game dish. Blanketing Normand’s dishes are his elaborate in-house sauces that make each dish a savoury treat.
Wild West
Anyone familiar with Normand’s knows if it’s wild game you’re looking for, like venison or rabbit, Normand’s is the only game in town. Try Alberta buffalo served with a honey-whiskey peppercorn sauce. Or try the musk ox with black mushrooms sautéed in honey, olive oil and soya sauce? In keeping with French custom, Normand’s celebrates wild game the entire month of November, when you can savour the likes of wild boar chops, caribou, venison, musk ox or ostrich. It is a culinary adventure for diners and Normand’s creative team will not disappoint.
Special Evenings
Throughout the calendar year, Normand’s strives to offer their patrons special events and cuisine to keep them coming back. Mussel’s Mondays, every Monday night featuring four pots of mussels with four different and delicious sauces, jazz nights to offer up some of the best local talent, wine dinners and of course the famous, wild game month in November. The talented chefs at Normand’s will also cater any special events – weddings, anniversaries or business dinners. This kitchen prides itself on using as many homegrown ingredients as possible and spawning some wildly exotic dishes as a result.
