An apt name for a sports bar, Overtime is one of the most popular pit stops for downtown's biggest movers and shakers and for good reason. Its location in the city centre, multiple-screen TVs (even in the washrooms) and an extensive menu has made Overtime an irresistible spot to take the load off your loafers.
The Draw
And during hockey season, it's almost mandatory to head to the club to follow the Oilers, given that the team's general manager, Kevin Lowe is a part-owner of Overtime. Between periods, Overtime defies typical sports bar finger food menus with an extensive selection of entrees, with chicken served in your choice of sauces (from apple barbecue to szechuan peppercorn), New York steak and ribeye made, of course, from Alberta beef, and racks of lamb. Also irresistible are their forno pizzas, burgers and wings. And on off-nights, when the Oilers aren't on the tube, take a spin on their sunken dance floor and shake your booty to yuppie-era anthems from ABBA to ZZ Top.
