The kennel offers extensive boarding accommodations for dogs and cats. Don’t worry, the cats are boarded in a separate building from the dogs and each kennel has a private indoor and outdoor run and individual exercise area. All pets receive one half hour of human interaction play time each day. You can leave your pet with the kennel for only a day or several months and know that they are being well cared for by knowledgeable, trained staff.
Convenient Service
Parkland Kennels West offers a pick up and drop off service as well, which includes transportation to and from the airport. The facility also offers grooming services so you can pamper your pet with a bath, brush and nail trim or get Fido to lose some of that extra winter wool with just a clipping during their stay at the Kennel.
Award Winning Training Programs
The kennel staff have been caring and training dogs for more than 13 years and have entered their own dogs in the Canadian Kennel Club, United Kennel Club and North American Hunt to Retrieve Association competitions. Parkland Kennel is designed to create winners with its 3,200-square-foot indoor training facility that offers classes in obedience, agility and retrieval and hunting. This kennel won top awards for obedience training from the Canadian Kennel Club and United Kennel Club every year the awards were available (1994 to 2005 inclusive, when the awards were discontinued).
