Located close to the University, and right next to the Garneau theatre, the restaurant is in a busy, trendy area. The Garneau theatre plays a lot of interesting, independent flicks and Pharos is a great place to go with your friends or a special date after seeing a movie next door.
Old-Time Pizza Story
The story the menu tells is not a new one, either. Salads, fries, spaghetti, a special sandwich: salami, pepperoni, mozzarella, ham and onions on Italian bread. Pharo's has lots of different kinds of pizza and that pizza is justification enough for occasionally coming down on the side of history when seeking a meal in this area. It's hot, it's good, and they cut it into manageable squares instead of floppy wedges. The down-home, old style theme carries through to the décor; a juke box sits by one wall and proudly displays a variety of old and new songs.
