In 2004, the Edmonton Journal noted Pizza Boys as having some of the best pies in the city. Since then, the restaurant has continued to live up to that expectation by making delicious thin crust pizza in a variety of interesting and individual flavours. A favourite among customers is the Pizza Boys Deluxe, an amazing blend of prosciutto, Italian sausage, mushrooms, and artichoke hearts. Another great option is the Godfather’s Choice, featuring a scrumptious mixture of cheeses.
Think Twice Before Ordering Take-out
Pizza Boys offers delivery and takeout. But the cozy, relaxed, warm atmosphere of the place might just convince you to stay awhile. The place is decorated in soft tones, with burgundy walls, oak panelling, and attractive art. It’s not just a place where you grab the pizza and run; it’s a place where you can sit back and really enjoy a night away from home. You can come and partake in some good conversation with friends, or just enjoy a relaxing meal on your own. Sometimes good food is the best company.
Pizzas are Just the Beginning
Pizza Boys isn’t just fixated on pizza and you won’t be either once you see some of the other menu options. Comfort food of all kinds is found on the menu. Traditional lasagne, with its layers of pasta and cheese, is always a safe bet. For those meat lovers among us, there are steak and chicken entrees, and various appetizers. The restaurant is worth a visit just for a steaming cup of cappuccino or the much raved about Italian dessert, tiramisu. Made using coca, espresso and triple-cream mascarpone cheese, this dessert is the perfect pick-me-up.
