A Place Where People Matter
The Salvation Army is an organization committed to providing assistance to those in need within the community. The Salvation Army provides a variety of family services available for everyone including addictions treatment, health services, disaster relief, emergency food and shelter, and suicide prevention.

Support for Those in Emotional Distress
The Salvation Army Crisis Line provides support and intervention services to individuals that are struggling with issues related to suicide, and also provides information and consultation to concerned friends or family members. The staff of the Alberta Crisis line is available 24 hours a day at 780 429-0230 or toll free at 1-877-803-8336 to provide crisis intervention to address the needs of people who may find themselves in tough emotional spots and could be contemplating suicide as an answer to their problems.

People Helping People
The Salvation Army has operated this service in the Edmonton Region since 1976 and has helped countless individuals through tough and difficult times. The Crisis Line staff is always willing to listen and provide a non-judgmental and caring ear for those in need. When you feel that you can no longer go on, help is only a phone call away. The Salvation Army recognizes that in times of distress it is important to have someone to talk to. The Crisis Line gives people of all ages an opportunity to express their concerns.

Deals to be Found
The large store is almost entirely filled with racks of clothing, ranging from jeans to bridal gowns to suits. There is also a large selection of children's wear. Take your time flipping through; you'll often find name brands still in style at very low prices.

What Goes Around Comes Around
After the vintage look took off a few years ago, a vintage section was. It’s a time saver when you want to ogle at the horrible clothing, or expand your wardrobe (or Halloween costume) for just a few bucks.

Dress Up Your House
The back of the store is full of used furniture, some of which is very vintage and trendy—ideal for students. They've raised the prices lately, but some of the items are still a steal. And don't miss the home accessories section. Often quality items with names like Corning Ware are for sale, usually priced at less than a dollar.
