Real Health Food
Start out with samosa appetizers or try some of the masala dishes. Other items worth checking out are the roast vegetable sandwich or the vegetable curry. Carnivorous folks can go for the pita pie. Wash it down with some "chai" or other assorted teas. Savoy’s is a nice, cozy, little place, perfect for a nice conversation or some quiet, individual reflection.
Good Prices
It’s refreshing to find a place that actually practices what it presents in its title by offering many tasty, low calorie, unique options. And Savoy’s scores points again because unlike many health food places, its prices rival that of their fast-food pseudo-healthy counterparts. You’ll have lots of choices here but the menu is primarily South East Indian food. The spices can be bold or delicate, depending on the dish; and you won’t miss the meat in the vegetarian dishes. Yes, they’re good.
Have A Healthy Dosa
You can choose from dosas or samosas, served with chutneys and flavourful sauces, or try lentil soup or one of the many other combo dishes available. They also have fresh juices here that are made to order and taste divine. It’s location at the end of a strip mall is not picturesque, and it doesn’t serve alcohol, but the price is right, and the portions are good.
