If you like to putt, Stony Plain is the course for you. If you don't like to putt, then it's still the course for you, because the only way to improve your skills is to practise, practise, practise!! Luckily, the greens at Stony Plain are relatively forgiving, and approach shots from nice, wide fairways should land you close to the hole in the first place. On a good day, of course!
With 90 sand traps and eight water holes, this is actually a very challenging 18-hole, par 72 course. Tees are placed so there are options for everyone to enjoy their round. There is even a special 4-hole junior course perfect for kids 10 and under.
The Non-Golf Stuff
Stony Plain has all the amenities, including a fully stocked pro shop, practice facilies and a banquet hall that seats up to 240 people. Lessons from pros are available, which include a video CD of your swing to take home. Call or visit their website for tee times.
