Innovative and Environmental
The furniture at The Great Room Company is contemporary and unique. Whether for dining, lounging or sleeping, the store offers pieces that you won’t find anywhere else. Materials include dark oak, brass, pewter and chrome. Furnishings for children’s rooms and stereo/TV cabinets are also available. For those looking to go high end, the Pacific Green line is for you. Constructed from the environmentally friendly coconut palm, pieces are bound in wire or leather, not glued. Apart from this Fijian line, most furniture comes from China, with the quality control overseen by the owner herself!
Durable, Beautiful Decor
Other than furniture, The Great Room Company sells accent pieces, as well. Pottery comes in all colours and designs and vases can be as tall as seven feet. There are also throws, cushions, hanging art and bright rugs, as well as a variety of lighting, from floor lamps to chandeliers. One of their most original products is the Lampe Berger. This oil lamp, originally from 18th century Paris, burns without a flame. Burning, it eliminates 68% of airborne pollutants. The scented oils that make it a fragrant addition to any room are also sold here.
