The Basics
This is what winter memories are made of: careening down a hill on your toboggan, your scarf flapping in the wind behind you, enjoying every bump as your screams of delight fill the cold winter air. Every neighbourhood has their own little hills on which neighbourhood children like to slide, but it can be worth a trip to a bigger hill. Tubing (sliding down a hill on an inner tube) has become increasingly popular, and is available at many ski hills. Here are a few hills to try.

Gallagher Park
Downhill fun just a few steps away from Edmonton Ski Club.

Government House Park
One of the most popular local toboggan hills.

Emily Murphy Park
Grab a picnic basket and have a fun family outing.

Rundle Park
Some fine hills in the city's east end.

Whitemud Nature Reserve
This short hill generates lots of thrills.
