Start off with a California roll and work your way to more exotic appetizers. If gulping down raw fish makes you feel somewhat squeamish, check out the ramen noodles. The menu also features tempura, sashimi, yakitori and a choice of miso or salmono soups that require some lip work to get accustomed to the contours of the requisite traditional spoons.
Sushi Retreat
But, for those who are Japanese food fanatics, nothing really beats sushi and Tokyo Noodle Shop is known for serving it right. A number of these morsels beckon from the menu: Ebi nigiri (shrimp), Manguro nigiri (tuna), Sake nigiri (salmon) and Uni gunkan maki (sea urchin) are a few of the raw treats that can be bought by the piece or in combination plate. For the vegetarians among us, you may be surprised to find a number of sushi options without the raw meat; pieces like the Tamago nigiri (egg omelette) or the Kappa maki (cucumber roll) are always satisfying.
