Panini Perusal
The menu consists mainly of cappuccino, espresso, "rinfreschi" or juice and pop and delicious paninis (toasted sandwiches filled with the likes of Italian meats and cheeses, artichoke hearts, roasted peppers). Paninis come in a multitude of varieties with at least about 10 circulating on the menu at a time. Chicken bread, pasta salads and lasagna, all with a traditional homemade taste, also grace the menu.

Get Your Own Beans
They have some sweets as well, biscotti and gelati being the most tempting. There is also a reasonably well-stocked bar. For those with a caffeine fixation, the café sells espresso beans that allow you to make your own life-saving caffeinated drinks at home. Traamici also offers take-out and catering.

A Taste of Italy
There's something to be said for keeping things simple and this meeting place, located just a couple of doors down from the Italian Centre, says it loud and clear with both its atmosphere and its menu board. Friendly card games and lively discussions abound in the open, modern room featuring concrete counters, wood and steel appointments, soccer paintings and scarves and a host of television sets tuned to whichever channel is most likely to carry a soccer game. Its a little taste of Italian culture right in the midst of Edmonton and the food’s a refreshing change from your typical greasy spoon.
